Description / Appearance
This product is a white or off-white lyophilized (freeze-dried) cake or powder.
Pharmacological Action
Hormonal drug. Intravenous or intramuscular injection of physiological doses of Gonadorelin causes a significant increase in plasma Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and a slight increase in Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). This promotes oocyte maturation and ovulation in the ovaries of female animals, or testicular development and spermatogenesis in male animals. In dairy cows, it is rapidly absorbed from the injection site following intramuscular administration, quickly metabolized into inactive fragments in the plasma, and excreted via urine.
Indications and Usage
Hormonal drug that stimulates the release of FSH and LH from the adenohypophysis (anterior pituitary). It is indicated for the treatment of ovarian inactivity (anestrus) in dairy cows and for the induction of estrus synchronization in dairy cows.
Dosage and Administration
Dissolve and dilute with water for injection or physiological saline for intramuscular injection.
Ovsynch Protocol for Dairy Cows
For cows diagnosed with ovarian inactivity, or for induction of estrus beginning approximately 50 days postpartum, initiate the Ovsynch protocol as follows:
▸ Day 0: Inject 100–200 μg of Gonadorelin per head.
▸ Day 7: Inject 0.5 mg of Cloprostenol Sodium.
▸ 48 hours later (Day 9): Administer a second injection of Gonadorelin at the same dose (100–200 μg).
▸ 18–20 hours later: Perform Artificial Insemination (AI).

Precautions
▸ Use for growth promotion is prohibited.
▸ Generally, other hormones should not be used concurrently with this product.
▸ Keep out of reach of children.
