Description
A clear, colorless liquid.
Indications and Usage
Hormonal agent. Stimulates the animal's anterior pituitary gland to release follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). Used for treating ovarian arrest in dairy cows and for synchronizing estrus.
Dosage and Administration
Administration Method: Intramuscular injection.
Treatment Protocols
For cows with ovarian arrest: Initiate the Ovsynch protocol immediately upon diagnosis.For estrus synchronization: Initiate the Ovsynch protocol around 50 days postpartum.
Ovsynch Protocol
▸ Day 0: Administer 2–4 ml of this product per animal.▸ Day 7: Administer 0.5 mg of Cloprostenol Sodium.▸ 48 hours later: Administer the same dose of this product (2-4 ml).▸ 18–20 hours after the second dose: Perform artificial insemination.
Adverse Reactions
No adverse reactions have been observed when used according to the recommended dosage and administration.
Precautions
▸ Do not use for growth promotion.▸ Concomitant use with other hormonal agents is generally not recommended.▸ Keep out of reach of children.
