Alarelin Acetate for Injection

Pituitary Stimulation (GnRH Analogue) for Fish Farm

Overview

Alarelin Acetate is a potent synthetic analogue of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH). Unlike HCG, which mimics the end-result hormone, Alarelin tells the fish's own brain to release its stored reproductive hormones.

Key Benefits

High Potency

Required in much smaller volumes (micrograms vs. International Units).

Natural Response

Because it triggers the fish's own pituitary, the resulting egg quality is often superior.

No Immune Resistance

Since it is a small peptide, fish do not develop antibodies against it, making it ideal for multi-year broodstock.

Application & Dosage

Dopamine Blockers

Alarelin is often combined with a dopamine antagonist (like Domperidone) because dopamine can "brake" the spawning process in many freshwater species (e.g., Grass Carp).

Dosage

Usually measured in micrograms (μg). A common range is 10 to 50 μg per kg.

Advantage

It is generally more stable at room temperature in powder form compared to some crude extracts.
